Overview - Meteorological Tower

The meteorological towers gather wind and weather data to better understand the conditions of the environment. Radial Wind will be gathering site-specific weather data with a scientific monitoring station. This station will record data, including wind, wave, tide height, current and water temperature information.

The tower is approximately 200 feet tall. The data collected provides information for the environmental research and design of the offshore wind farm.
