The Radial Wind Farm will be unseen by communities, but the economic impact will be felt by the surrounding states of Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan, by (a) providing over 3,000 jobs, (b) encouraging investment in the community, (c) helping to stabilize energy prices, and (d) saving more that $1.2 billion for the communities on electricity through 2020. This money that would have been used to pay electricity bills will go to other more important things to drive the local economies.

Tourism

Lake Michigan's coastal communities are beautiful and visitors from around the world have come to enjoy the natural resources. As the inspiring view of the Radial Wind Farm is only possible from the water, demand for tourist visits will create new opportunities for tour boat operators. Charter fishing boats, sailboat tours and scenic cruises may include the wind farm as part of their Lake Michigan experience. The wind farm can become a new eco-tourism destination.
