The Radial Wind Farm will be placed more than 15 miles outside the nearest coastal region, providing unobstructed use of the lake's coast for boaters and fisherman. Larger vessels will have more than 50 square miles of passing access east and west of the wind farm. Each turbine will be placed apart to ensure that small vessels can comfortably maneuver around the windmills. We will work with the United States Coast Guard to ensure there is safe positioning of the windmills in relationship to commercial shipping lanes.
